  i apologize for this point, as if beating it to death, but folks, you don't have any witness friends!

  there is no such thing.. does that sound extreme?

  i observe two ways the watchtower society keeps their followers "sheeplike".

  both are based in fear.

  love is not the glue that holds it together, although familial love is exploited by them in #2 below.. 1. god is going to destroy everyone who is not a jehovah's witness in the immenent armageddon blitzkreig.

  1. Knowledge of a person acquired by a relationship less intimate than friendship.
  2. A relationship based on such knowledge: struck up an acquaintance with our new neighbor.
  3. A person whom one knows.
  4. Knowledge or information about something or someone.

  I used to say I have an acquaintance not a friendship with a witness because it never felt like the were really my friends.

  Now I say I used to know someone instead of refering to them as an old friend.
